This project reinforced the importance of building user-centered features that offer value beyond aesthetics
Living Room
To address the challenges of high-density city living, the living room was designed for efficiency and style. We began with light grey flooring and white walls to create an expansive, airy foundation. A custom L-shaped sofa, upholstered in a resilient but inviting fabric, defines the space without sacrificing circulation. The main feature is a minimalist wall-mounted entertainment unit with a wood-veneer accent panel, providing smart storage and a touch of organic warmth, making the room bright, welcoming, and optimized for everyday use.
Bedroom
The bedroom serves as a quiet sanctuary away from the hustle of Navi Mumbai. The design uses a muted, restful palette of taupes and soft blues to encourage relaxation. Given the limited footprint, we incorporated a full-height wardrobe system with mirrored panels to visually double the room's size and maximize storage space. The bed is flanked by floating nightstands, eliminating visual clutter on the floor, while layered lighting—from a soft cove ceiling light to focused reading lamps—allows the occupant to set the perfect mood for unwinding.
Study Table / Office Work
Recognising the necessity of dedicated remote work and study spaces, we designed a highly efficient, multi-purpose zone. The custom-built desk features a durable, light wood laminate surface, offering ample space without encroaching on circulation. We integrated discreet wire management channels and multiple accessible power ports to ensure a truly clutter-free environment. Above the desk, vertical shelving and closed storage cabinets maintain the apartment's sleek lines while keeping files and supplies organised, making the space functional, ergonomic, and visually cohesive with the main living areas.
